Vaida Odongo

PROGRAM MANAGER, ACCELERATION PROGRAM

Based in Nairobi, Kenya

Vaida serves as Program Manager for the Foundation’s flagship accelerator for African social innovators, supporting program strategy, execution, and partner engagement. She brings over 10 years of experience building networks, partnerships, and programs that enable locally led organizations across Africa to access the funding, relationships, and capacity needed to scale their impact.

Before joining Dovetail, Vaida directed the +1 Network at the Roddenberry Foundation, supporting more than 200 social impact organizations across 25 African countries. She also managed Acumen’s community of 220+ East Africa Fellows and co-founded a leadership platform for women founders in Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Gender and Development Studies from Kenyatta University and lives in Nairobi with her family and two dogs.
