Domestic Portfolio
We invest in big ideas and servant leaders who improve the lives of families in Houston. Our focus is to back bold, scalable, social innovations that accelerate economic mobility and human flourishing for the 1.5M people living in under-resourced communities across Harris, Fort Bend, and Montgomery Counties.
AFRICA, INDIA, AND SOUTHEAST ASIA
International Scale Portfolio
Through our Scale Portfolio, we partner with organizations working in the fields of health (primary, proactive, community-based healthcare), livelihoods (with a focus on increasing incomes for the ultra-poor), early & primary education, and justice (legal access, empowerment, and the enforcement of the law). We typically begin partnership with organizations whose operating budgets are between $500,000 and $5,000,000, and provide general operating support.
AFRICA
International Acceleration Portfolio
Through the Acceleration Portfolio, Dovetail invests in African organizations with annual budgets under $400,000 that are deeply rooted in their communities, have enterprising leadership, and ambition to grow their impact. By pairing unrestricted funding with capacity support, our goal is to help organizations to lay the groundwork they need to access greater opportunities and funding.
